About ARA-290 10mg

Erythropoietin has a tissue-protective function that is entirely separate from its haematopoietic one, mediated by a heteromeric receptor of EPOR and the beta common receptor rather than by the EPOR homodimer. ARA-290 is engineered to hit only the former. That separation is the whole point of the molecule: it allows the anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective activity of EPO to be studied without the haematocrit rise and thrombotic risk that make the parent hormone unusable for that purpose. It has been investigated in small-fibre neuropathy and sarcoidosis models.

Storage and reconstitution

Store lyophilized peptide at -20°C in a dry, dark environment. Reconstitute in bacteriostatic water. Once reconstituted, store at 2-8°C and use within 30 days. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Lyophilized powder is stable at room temperature for shipping and short-term storage.
