About Gonadorelin Acetate 5mg
Gonadorelin is identical to endogenous GnRH rather than an analogue of it, which makes it the appropriate tool compound for studying the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis in its native configuration. The critical feature is that pituitary response depends entirely on pulsatile delivery: continuous exposure desensitises the GnRH receptor and suppresses gonadotropin release, which is exactly the mechanism that long-acting agonists like leuprolide exploit therapeutically. Its half-life is only a few minutes, which is what enables pulsatile protocols but also constrains experimental design.
Storage and reconstitution
Store lyophilized peptide at -20°C in a dry, dark environment. Reconstitute in bacteriostatic water. Once reconstituted, store at 2-8°C and use within 30 days. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Lyophilized powder is stable at room temperature for shipping and short-term storage.
