About PEG-MGF 2mg

Mechano-growth factor is the splice variant of IGF-1 that muscle produces in response to mechanical loading and damage, and its distinguishing feature is the E-domain, which appears to act on satellite cell proliferation through a pathway separate from the IGF-1 receptor. The unmodified peptide clears within minutes, which makes it impractical to study; PEG conjugation extends that window substantially. Because PEG chain size varies between preparations, total molecular weight is preparation-dependent and only the peptide portion is quoted here.

Storage and reconstitution

Store lyophilized peptide at -20°C in a dry, dark environment. Reconstitute in bacteriostatic water. Once reconstituted, store at 2-8°C and use within 30 days. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Lyophilized powder is stable at room temperature for shipping and short-term storage.
